We’re pleased to share that Partridge Homes has been featured in News on the Block, one of the leading publications for the UK property management and lettings industry. The feature, titled “Partridge Homes strengthens lettings team with third appointment amid record rental growth”, covers Katie Fisher’s appointment to our lettings team and the broader growth the business has seen in 2026.
Katie is the third new member to join our lettings team since May 2026, taking on the role of Inventories and Inspections Liaison. Her focus is on a part of the landlord-tenant relationship that tends to be underserved: keeping landlords properly informed about their properties, and making sure that inventories and inspections are carried out carefully and communicated clearly.

For landlords, a well-managed inspection or inventory isn’t just a formality. It protects them if a dispute arises, keeps tenants informed of their responsibilities, and gives everyone a shared record of the property’s condition. Having someone in the team whose role is specifically centred on this work means it gets the consistent attention it warrants.
Katie joins Sarah Bannister, who came to us from Martin & Co Solihull, and Nici Hall, who brought 21 years of experience from Scanlans Property Management. Together, they form part of a deliberate effort to build a lettings team that can handle growth without cutting corners on service.
The News on the Block feature puts Katie’s appointment in the context of what has genuinely been an extraordinary year for the business. From January to the end of April 2026, we arranged 129 new lets — more than in any previous opening four months since we started trading in February 2007. Until this year, the highest figure for the same period was 72, set in 2025. That’s a 79% increase, year on year.
What makes that figure more striking is that it runs against the national picture. Across the same period, new lettings activity fell by 20% nationally. Our growth isn’t a reflection of a rising tide; it’s come from landlords actively choosing to work with us, including two local Solihull agents who have fully outsourced their lettings divisions to Partridge Homes. We’re currently in discussions with a third.
We’ve also seen close to 40 new rentals agreed in September 2026 alone, and we’re working towards a target of 365 new lettings across the full year — well above the previous annual record of 215, set in 2025. Alongside that, we currently manage more than 500 tenancies across Solihull, Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Growing at this pace only works if the quality of service keeps up. That’s the reason behind each of the three appointments made this year, and it’s the reason the News on the Block feature framed the story the way it did.
This coverage also comes as we prepare for a significant step forward: the launch of Partridge Block Management in January 2027. This will be our first move into residential block management in Birmingham and the surrounding areas, and it’s been driven by a consistent stream of enquiries from freeholders, developers and resident management companies who’ve told us that finding a proactive, reliable managing agent locally is harder than it should be.
Nici Hall is heading up the new division, and her background makes her well placed to lead it from day one. You can read more about what block management involves and how it differs from standard lettings management in our guide to block management vs lettings management, or find out more about what block management means for Birmingham apartment owners.
We’ll share more detail about the new service as January approaches.
The News on the Block feature is part of a wider run of national trade press attention the business has received. Recent coverage has appeared in Property Wire, The Business Desk, Letting Agent Today, and Houzez, among others. We’re grateful to News on the Block for covering our news, and to our clients and team for the trust and support that makes stories like this possible.
