We are proud to have been featured by The Business Desk, one of the leading regional business news platforms in the West Midlands. The feature recognises our two most recent senior appointments and reflects the continued momentum we are building ahead of a significant expansion to our services.
Being recognised by a respected regional business publication is not something we take lightly. For a family-run agency based in Solihull, it is a mark of how far we have come — and a signal of where we are heading.
Partridge Homes was founded in 2006 by Kevin Partridge and his daughter-in-law Charlotte Partridge. Kevin brought more than 25 years of experience across financial services and estate agency, while Charlotte had spent a decade working for two national estate agents. Following Kevin’s sudden passing in 2021, Charlotte has led the business forward, growing it into one of the most trusted agencies in Birmingham and Solihull.
Today, we manage more than 500 properties across Solihull, Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The first four months of 2026 produced the strongest new lettings figures we have recorded since opening in 2007 — a result that reflects the hard work of the whole team.
The Business Desk feature centres on two new appointments: Nicola Hall and Sarah Bannister.
Nicola Hall joins us from Scanlans Property Management, where she spent 21 years specialising in block management. Her depth of knowledge in this area is exactly what we need as we prepare to launch our new block management division. You can read more about Nici’s appointment and what she brings to the business in our dedicated post about her joining the team.
Sarah Bannister joins from Martin and Co Solihull, bringing with her strong local market knowledge and a client-focused approach that fits naturally with how we work.
Charlotte Partridge, Managing Director, said:
“For Nici and Sarah, with their wealth of experience, to choose to join our family business over a number of much larger corporate firms makes us incredibly proud. Building a great team has always been one of our biggest priorities. Our people are what make Partridge Homes different and we’re proud to continue investing in experienced professionals who share our passion for delivering exceptional customer service.”
Both appointments reflect our commitment to bringing in people who genuinely care about the service they deliver — not just filling roles.
As a family-run business rooted in Solihull, we are passionate about investing in local talent. Every appointment we make strengthens our ability to serve landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers across the West Midlands — while also creating meaningful career opportunities within the property industry.
This is not growth for its own sake. We are deliberate about who we bring into the team, and we take time to find people whose values align with ours.
The appointment of Nicola Hall marks an important milestone in our preparations to launch Partridge Block Management in Q1 2027. This will be the most significant expansion to our services since the business was founded.
The demand for this service has been clear for some time. Landlords, leaseholders and developers across Birmingham and Solihull have been asking for a local, hands-on alternative to the large corporate block management firms. Our approach will be different — we are not aiming to take on hundreds of buildings. Instead, we will focus on a smaller portfolio of developments where we can maintain clear communication, high standards and a genuinely responsive service.
Nicola’s 21 years of specialist experience will be central to building this division in the right way from the ground up. If you manage a development or are a freeholder or leaseholder looking for a new managing agent, you can find out more in our complete guide to block management in Birmingham and Solihull.
Alongside these appointments, Partridge Homes has recently become a member of Propertymark — one of the most recognised professional bodies in the UK property industry. This membership means our landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers can have confidence that we operate to a recognised professional standard, with proper accountability and conduct requirements in place.
Charlotte said: “We want our landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers to have the confidence of knowing they are dealing with an agency that is aligned with one of the most recognised and respected professional bodies within the UK property industry.”
It would be easy to focus solely on the new appointments, but it is worth noting the broader picture. The first four months of 2026 have been the strongest opening to a calendar year for new lettings in our history. That performance is a direct result of the team we have built, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the trust that landlords and tenants place in us.
We have also been recognised nationally in recent months. In 2025, Charlotte was named a finalist for Woman in Property of the Year at the National LIS Awards, sponsored by Barclays Bank. We have also won the British Property Awards for Best Letting Agents in Solihull four years running — a result that comes from consistent service, not a single good year.
The Business Desk feature is a welcome piece of recognition, but it is really just a snapshot of a business in motion. With two experienced new team members in place, Propertymark membership secured, and block management preparations well under way, the coming months represent a genuinely exciting chapter for Partridge Homes.
We remain a family business at heart — built on trust, local knowledge, and a straightforward approach to property. That will not change as we grow.
