We’re delighted to welcome Loum Tchaouna to Coventry City FC and to wish him every success in the season ahead. For Partridge Homes, this signing marks something significant: Loum is the first player referred to us by Coventry City, and the first we have successfully relocated for the club. It’s a milestone we’re proud of, and one that signals a meaningful expansion of our sports relocation work beyond Birmingham.
Our reputation in professional football relocation was built through our work with Birmingham City FC. During the 2025/26 window, we successfully relocated all 19 of their new signings — every single one. That 100% success rate, delivered quietly and without fuss, is what brought Coventry City to us.
The two clubs present different challenges. Birmingham sits at the heart of a city we know intimately. Coventry City’s promotion back to the Premier League, their first top-flight season since 2001, draws players from across Europe and beyond into a part of the Midlands where the right property, in the right location, needs to be secured quickly and discreetly. Our job is to make sure that process never becomes a distraction for the player or their family.
Loum Tchaouna is 22 years old and arrives at the Coventry Building Society Arena from Burnley, where he made 32 appearances across all competitions during the 2025/26 Championship-winning campaign. The fee is reported to be in the region of £20 million, and he has signed a five-year contract.
His career to this point has covered four countries and four major leagues. He made his senior debut at 17 for Rennes in Ligue 1, before a loan spell at Dijon in Ligue 2 and a permanent move to Salernitana in Serie A, where he registered six goals and three assists in 35 appearances. A move to Lazio followed, where he featured 11 times in the Europa League and scored the opening goal in a 3-1 win away at Ajax. Burnley brought him to England, and now Coventry City bring him to the Premier League.
He has been capped by France from Under-16 level through to the Under-21s, helping the French Under-21 side reach the semi-finals of the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
For a player with that breadth of experience at 22, settling quickly into the right home environment matters. We were pleased to make that part of his transition as straightforward as possible.
Promotion to the Premier League changes everything for a club, almost overnight. The calibre and profile of incoming signings rises sharply. Players arrive from abroad, often with families, sometimes with very little notice, and with the pre-season clock already running. Finding a premium rental property in a new area, in a new country, while preparing for the most competitive league in the world, is not something a player or their agent should have to manage alone.
That is precisely the gap we fill. We handle every element of the relocation: property sourcing, viewings, referencing, tenancy set-up, and ongoing management, all handled with complete confidentiality. The player’s name, profile, and personal circumstances are never disclosed without consent. Landlords know they are letting to a professional sports client; the details remain private.
Coventry City’s new Premier League status means demand for high-quality rental homes in the surrounding area is moving fast. We are actively seeking properties right now in:
These locations offer the privacy, space, and quality of life that professional athletes and their families look for. Good road links to the CBS Arena and training facilities matter, as does discretion from neighbours and the surrounding area.
Letting to a professional footballer through Partridge Homes is not the same as a standard tenancy arrangement, and for most landlords, that difference works firmly in their favour.
Financially: professional sports clients are among the most creditworthy tenants in the rental market. Rents are paid reliably and on time, often supported by club payroll structures or agent-managed accounts.
Practically: players and their families tend to treat properties with care. They are not hosting parties or running businesses from home. They want a settled, private, well-maintained base.
Professionally: we manage the tenancy throughout. Landlords have a single point of contact, clear communication, and the reassurance that the tenancy is being handled by a team with direct experience in this specific market.
Confidentially: we understand that some landlords have concerns about profile and privacy. We take the same approach on the landlord side as we do on the player side: discretion is standard, not optional.
If you own a premium property in any of the locations listed above and would like to understand what letting it to one of our professional sports clients could look like, the conversation starts with a private, no-obligation call. You can also read more about how we work with landlords and our track record with Birmingham City FC to get a clearer picture of what we do and how we do it.
We’re proud to be supporting Coventry City FC as they return to the Premier League, and proud to have started that relationship with Loum Tchaouna’s successful relocation. If you own a high-quality rental property in Warwick, Leamington Spa, Balsall Common, Stratford-upon-Avon, or Solihull and would like a confidential conversation about what we can offer, contact Partridge Homes directly. Our sports and entertainment lettings team is ready to move quickly.
