Whilst we are proud of the awards we have won, the growth we have achieved and the properties we let and sell every day, what has always mattered most to us is the people behind the business.
This week gave us one of those moments where you stop, take a breath and reflect on just how far someone has come.
Eve Nolan – Seven Years in the Making
Back in 2019, a young lady called Eve Nolan joined the Partridge Homes team at the age of 22. She had previously worked for a business associate of Paul’s, whose company was sadly closing down. During her time there, she had taken on a variety of roles, including managing the company’s digital and online marketing. It was clear from the outset that she had a genuine passion for the digital side of business — and a real talent for it.
At the time, Partridge Homes didn’t actually have a vacancy.
However, Paul could see how important digital marketing and online presence were becoming. Even back then, he could see the direction things were heading and felt that businesses would increasingly need to embrace social media and online marketing to remain competitive. After speaking with Charlotte and Kevin, it was decided that although there wasn’t a specific role available, Eve was someone worth investing in.
Looking back now, it is fair to say that was one of the best decisions we ever made.
The Influence of Kevin Partridge
During her early years with the company, Eve spent a great deal of time working alongside Kevin Partridge. Kevin would often comment on how capable she was and how much potential he could see in her. He regularly spoke about wanting her to have more confidence in herself, because he knew she was capable of achieving great things.
Those who knew Kevin will know how much he enjoyed seeing people grow and develop. We would like to think that the time he spent with Eve helped her realise just how talented she really is. He would, without question, be looking down with a smile on his face today, seeing the confident, skilled and highly respected professional she has become since first walking through the doors of our Shirley office as a shy and slightly nervous young woman.
What Eve Brings to Partridge Homes
What makes Eve so valuable to this business is that she is far more than an excellent digital marketer, she is a true all-rounder.
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
Eve is the driving force behind much of what you see from Partridge Homes online. She manages the company’s social media platforms, produces professional photography and video content, and crafts compelling material that brings our properties and our people to life. Some of her videos have achieved well over one million views, a remarkable result for an independent estate agency, and a genuine reflection of her skill and creativity.
Sales & Day-to-Day Operations
Alongside her marketing work, Eve plays a central role in our sales team as a Senior Sales Negotiator. She manages viewing appointments, coordinates viewing representatives and keeps multiple diaries running smoothly across a busy, growing business. Anyone who has witnessed the daily juggling act involved will know that she deserves enormous credit for it.
Her ability to combine marketing insight with hands-on sales experience gives her a perspective that very few people in this industry have — and it shows in the results she consistently delivers for our clients.
Taking the Keys to Her First Home
This week, we are absolutely delighted to celebrate Eve taking the keys to her first home, a wonderful personal milestone that the entire office has been thrilled to share with her.
Sometimes, when you work alongside someone every day, you don’t always notice their progress because it happens gradually. It is only when you stop and look back that you realise just how much they have achieved, both professionally and personally. Moments like this make you do exactly that.
A Culture Worth Protecting
As a company, we are fortunate to have many long-serving members of the team, and moments like this remind us why that means so much. We genuinely see our colleagues as an extension of our family. We celebrate each other’s successes, support one another through challenges and take great pride in seeing the people around us reach important milestones in their lives.

That culture was incredibly important to Kevin, and it remains just as important to Charlotte and the rest of the Partridge family today.
