We’re delighted to announce that Chloe Starkie joined Partridge Homes in August 2025 as our newest Lettings Administration Apprentice.
Chloe becomes the latest recruit to our long-established Partridge Homes Apprenticeship Academy – a programme personally overseen by Charlotte Partridge and responsible for bringing some of the brightest talent into the property industry over the last 15 years.
From day one, Chloe has shown genuine enthusiasm, professionalism, and a desire to learn every part of the lettings process. She now joins a growing legacy of apprentices who have built their careers with us.
Q&A With Charlotte Partridge- Why Apprenticeships Matter at Partridge Homes**
Q: Charlotte, you’ve supported apprenticeships for over 15 years. Why are they so important to you and to Partridge Homes?
Charlotte:
“Because apprenticeships change lives. They give young people a real chance to enter the property industry with confidence, support and hands-on learning. Over the years, many of our strongest team members have come through apprenticeship routes. It’s something I’m genuinely passionate about.”
Q: Partridge Homes has an impressive track record with apprentices. Can you share some success stories?
Charlotte:
“We’ve had so many amazing people start their careers with us.
One of the biggest examples is Nikki Jenkins, who joined in 2013. Twelve years later, she’s still part of our core team.
We’ve also trained an apprentice who is now a senior police officer, another who has become a specialist in student lettings in Selly Oak, and many others who’ve taken their skills into different areas of the property world.”*
What I love most is that almost all of them stay in touch. They’re proud to say they started at Partridge Homes – and we’re proud of them too.
Q: What makes the Partridge Homes Apprenticeship Academy different from others?
Charlotte:
“We don’t see apprentices as temporary help. We see them as future professionals.
Our approach is personal and hands-on. Apprentices sit in real meetings, receive one-to-one training, and learn everything from customer service to legislation to digital systems. They become part of the team from day one.”
“Many of our current staff came through the academy, so it’s become a real part of our culture.”
Q: Why was Chloe the right fit to join the academy?
Charlotte:
